By using FatedFace you agree to the terms below. They're short on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email us before buying.
What FatedFace is
FatedFace is a purchase of a computer-generated pencil sketch portrait and a written compatibility reading, delivered to your inbox within a few minutes of payment. The price shown for the reading is charged once, and the reading itself never renews. Nothing recurring is ever added to your order quietly. The one subscription we ever offer is Weekly Readings, an email subscription that is free for its first 14 days and then costs $9.99 every 2 weeks until you cancel. Where it is offered with your reading, those terms are shown next to the pay button before you enter any card details, and they are set out in full below. Where they are not shown there, nothing recurring is part of your order. If you are in the EU, Weekly Readings is never included unless you tick the box for it.
What it isn't
FatedFace is for personal reflection and entertainment. It is not medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice. The portrait is an artistic interpretation produced by a computer process, not a literal prediction of a real person. We make no guarantee that anyone you meet in real life will resemble the portrait.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to purchase. By checking out you confirm you are.
Payment and delivery
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see your card details.
- Delivery is typically within 2–4 minutes of payment. In rare cases of provider downtime, delivery may take up to 24 hours.
- If you don't receive your reading within 24 hours, email hello@fatedface.com and we'll either re-send or refund.
Weekly Readings
Weekly Readings is an email subscription that can come with your reading. It is a personalised reading written for you and delivered to your inbox every Monday and Friday. Where it is offered there is no separate screen and no second button: you are enrolled as part of buying your reading, and these terms are shown beside the pay button, before you enter any card details. Where it is not offered, nothing recurring is charged and none of this applies to your order. Your own checkout is what decides, and you can tell which one you had: if these terms were not beside the pay button when you paid, you were not enrolled in anything.
- Free for the first 14 days. Nothing at all is charged for Weekly Readings on the day you buy. Your reading is the only thing you pay for that day.
- Then $9.99 every 2 weeks. When the 14 free days end, the first $9.99 is charged, and $9.99 is charged every 2 weeks after that, for as long as the subscription is open. It continues until you cancel. There is no minimum term and no notice period.
- The same card. Every charge is taken from the same card you used for your reading, and shows on your statement under the same name.
- In the EU. If you are in the EU, Weekly Readings is never added on its own. It is included only if you tick the box for it beside the pay button.
If you are enrolled, we email you the moment your reading is bought. That email names the exact date the first $9.99 will be taken and carries a cancel link. We email you again 3 days before that date, with the same link, so the first charge never arrives unannounced.
How to cancel. Every Weekly Readings email carries a cancel link in its footer. Opening it cancels the subscription on the spot, with no login and no questions asked. You can also reply to any Weekly Readings email, or write to hello@fatedface.com, and we will cancel it for you. Cancelling stops every future charge. Cancel during the 14 free days and you are never charged for Weekly Readings at all. Readings you have already been sent are yours to keep, and payments already taken are covered by the same refund policy as everything else we sell.

Your portrait and reading
The image and text we deliver to you are yours to keep, print, share with friends, and post on personal social media. You may not resell them, claim them as your own original artwork, or train other AI models on them. We retain the right to use anonymised aggregate samples to improve future generations and for marketing on this site (no personally-identifying detail is ever shown).
Acceptable use
Don't use FatedFace to harass, impersonate, or generate content depicting anyone you know without their consent. We may refuse service or issue a refund and revoke access if we detect abuse.
Liability
FatedFace is provided as-is. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of the service is capped at the amount you paid us. We are not liable for emotional reactions to your reading, decisions you make based on it, or outcomes in your love life.
Changes to these terms
If we materially update these terms we'll change the date at the top of the page. Continuing to use the service after a change counts as acceptance.
